RESIDENTS have been writing letters to the Post Office to say how important their local branch is.
People who live in Marston have said they are writing the letters to make sure the decision to reopen the Marston Post Office is not changed.
It comes after the post office on Old Marston Road closed without any warning.
Despite the national delivery service saying the closure of kiosk – which is inside the Costcutter – is only 'temporary', residents say they will take 'no risk'.
The spokesperson previously told the Oxford Mail: “We take very seriously any decision to temporarily close a branch, and will only do so when it is warranted.”
