THE story of murdered Didcot teenager Jayden Parkinson will be told in a new true crime series.
When Missing Turns to Murder will chart the story of the 17-year-old, who was strangled by her boyfriend Ben Blakeley when she told him about her pregnancy.
The 22-year-old strangled Jayden in open countryside south of Didcot, before burying her body in the grave of his uncle Alan Kennedy in a cemetery near All Saint’s Church in Didcot.

After Blakeley was jailed, the teenager’s mother Samantha Shrewsbury, 47, broke down in tears as she spoke of her grief at losing Jayden on December 3, 2013.
In a statement given outside the court, she said: “Finally justice has been done for our Jayden.
The eighth episode of the series will air on the channel Crime + Investigation on Monday , April 22, at 9pm.
It charts how the Serious Crime Squad were introduced to the case and upon questioning Blakely’s brother, were led to their uncle’s grave where Jayden’s body had been buried.
Through emotionally charged testimonies from Jayden’s mother Samantha, the episode tells a tragic story of domestic violence.
The series will also be available on catch up and on demand services.
