MUMS from Oxford Nursery got an early Mother's Day treat on Friday.
The Summertown group, based on Marston Ferry Road, put on an afternoon tea to celebrate yesterday's event and allow them to get to know each other and staff.
Michelle Bowden and Emma Slee were among around 20 mums – all with children between six months and five years old – who enjoyed the celebrations, which look set to be repeated for Father's Day in the summer.

Senior manager Julie Pender explained: "Last year was the first year we did it and it was so well attended that we thought we would do it again.
"Because the mums are working they don't get the opportunity to socialise with other mums, have tea with their children and see what they get up to at nursery."

She continued: "It went really well, the parents are very thankful, its just that special time (and) staff managed to socialise with the parents - it was great.
