A PAIR involved in ‘spreading the tentacles’ of a London drugs gang in Oxford have been spared jail.
Caitlyn Rees, 21, of Southfield Road, Oxford, and Jahvan Robinson, 21, of Diana Road, London, were sentenced at Oxford Crown Court on Friday after being found guilty by a jury of supplying Class A drugs in the city.
Rees had also earlier pleaded guilty to being involved with the supply of cannabis.
Mr Recorder Jonathan Davies said: “I am satisfied that you were involved in a London-based organisation spreading its tentacles into Oxford.”

He added, however, their role was ‘low level’ and he did not think they would benefit from a custodial sentence.
He concluded: “I am going to be merciful…try not to let everybody down.”
Robinson was sentenced to two years in prison suspended for two years.
He also must complete 20 days rehabilitation, have an electronic curfew between 9pm and 6am for nine months, and complete 200 hours unpaid work.
Reese was sentenced to 20 months for both offences, this was also suspended for two years.
She will also have to complete 20 days rehabilitation, and 200 hours unpaid work.
