Investigating officer Inspector James Sullivan, from Cowley police station, said: “The disappearance of Maja is totally out of character.
“She did not attend a concert with her friends last night and is normally very punctual and reliable.
“Her bike is not at her home address so we believe she may have left on her bicycle.
"Police, along with her friends and family are very concerned for her welfare."
He continued: “If you think you may have seen Maja or you know where she may be, please contact Police on 101 quoting the reference number 1528 (28/3)
