It happened shortly after 2pm when the aircraft came down just off Davis Gardens, a residentail cul-de-sac.

Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service said the glider was just over 10ft off the ground and the pilot, a man, was still in the aircraft upon arrival. He was not injured.
A statement from Bicester Gliding Club chairman Peter Harvey said: "Bicester Gliding Club can confirm that there was an incident with a glider earlier this afternoon and that the glider came to rest lodged in trees adjacent to the airfield.
"The glider was being flown by a single pilot.
"There were no serious injuries to the pilot and no damage to other persons or property.
"It is too early to know the cause of this incident, but Bicester Gliding Club have commenced their investigation under the supervision of the British Gliding Association."
The statement added its 'extreme gratitude' to the emergency services for the 'prompt and professional support'.
