POLICE pursued a man in a 'Hot Fuzz style' chase through a village last night.
Officers arrested a man in Wheatley, near Oxford, on suspicion of possessing a bladed article and criminal damage after the hunt likened to a scene from the 2007 police comedy film.

Thames Valley Police's South and Vale Twitter page posted how the chase involved a pursuit on foot and some 'fence hopping', in a scene apparently similar to the movie.
The man was eventually rounded up by a police dog and arrested, with help from officers from across the area.

In Hot Fuzz, two police officers, played by Simon Pegg and Nick Frost, attempt to solve a series of mysterious deaths in Sandford, a fictional village in Gloucestershire.
