EVERY week we are blown away by the talented photographers who make up the Oxford Mail camera club.
Now, less that two years after the group was created and a month after we hit our 1,000 member milestone, we want to start promoting some of people behind the photos.
That is why we are introducing a new regular slot – the Oxford Mail Camera Club Profile.
The idea is to show off a different member of the group each week to readers of the Oxford Mail.

Members in the Facebook group have already been asked to put themselves forward for the new weekly space, which will have an interview with the talent and a slideshow of four of their best pictures.

In each article readers will find out what makes them tick as a photographer, their favourite piece of kit at the moment and a few words of advice for any newbies getting behind the lens.
There is so much to snap across Oxfordshire, from picture-perfect hotspots and old stone walls to bold and colourful events – we want to see what the county looks like through the lens of different people and build up a bigger community of like-minded snappers.

The profile ties in with the competition that we are running alongside tourism group Experience Oxfordshire.
Here's what you could win in this year's competition
This week we even asked members of the club to send in their best shots of the county for the 'Why I Love Oxfordshire' theme.
Entries can still be submitted for the #WhyILoveOx competition, via Instagram until April 8 by following @Oxfordmail and tagging us and @ExperienceOxfordshire and captioning #WhyILoveOx and #Comp.
More details on the new profile feature can be found by joining the Oxford Mail Camera Club Facebook group.
