AN ELDERLY woman was run over as she crossed the road to get to a bus stop.
The elderly lady was crossing over at the Foresters Tower stop on Wood Farm Road in Headington last wednesday when she was knocked to the floor by a car reversing.
The drivers took the woman back to her house, but they left without handing over any contact details.
The victim had to be taken to hospital to be treated for her injuries, but was discharged on the same day.
Now, Thames Valley Police want to speak with the driver of the vehicle.
The force issued an appeal urging the driver to get in touch with them via the 24-hour non-emergency number on 101 - quoting the reference 43190088784.
