A FORMER Oxford Brookes worker has avoided jail after being found with more than 80 indecent images of children.
At a sentencing at Oxford Crown Court today Michael Smith was handed a community order for 12 months.
Smith who now lives in Winforton, Hereford will also be made to sign the sex offenders register for 5 years.

The 54-year-old had been working for the university’s IT team when police raided his All Saints Road house in August 2016.
A jury found him guilty of two counts of making indecent images.
