PROPOSALS to reduce the speed limit on a rural road out of Oxford are being considered by the county council.
People have until 11.59pm on Friday to comment on the plan that would see 30mph limits replace the existing 40mph in Hinksey Hill.

The new limit would cover the whole of the hill and continue for 160 metres in Oxford Road toward Kennington.
It would also extend for 100 metres into Foxcombe Road toward Boars Hill and the whole of Betty Lane.
The changes have been requested by South Hinksey Parish Council.
Once the consultation has ended, the council will consider all responses and publish its decision.
