A SCHOOL that was rated 'inadequate' two years ago is awaiting its latest feedback from Ofsted.
St Gregory the Great Catholic School in East Oxford was visited by inspectors at the start of March, and a report should be released within weeks.
It was the fourth monitoring inspection since the all-through academy was rated 'inadequate' following inspection in March 2017, and placed in special measures.
Monitoring inspections do not award new ratings, but check if progress is being made and if there is a solid plan for improvements.
The previous check-up visit took place in September and concluded that 'at last, the school is moving forwards.'

In a newsletter sent to parents the week before last, the school's acting head Sean Tucker said: "The lead [inspector] asked that we thank all those involved in the inspection.
"I would like to thank all the students, parents, staff, governors and directors for their continued efforts across the school in bringing about improvements and creating an environment where our young people can flourish.
"In the feedback from this recent inspection there were many positive things to celebrate, a clear recognition of all the hard work being done.
"Equally there are some key areas where accelerated progress needs to be made and this should now be our focus."

He said the feedback from Ofsted will be 'published shortly' in the regulator's report, adding: "Together we are moving on with our journey in providing the very best education for our young people.
"St Gregory’s is a school we should all be proud to be a part of."
