POLICE found a machete in Bury Knowle Park today as part of a crackdown on knife crime in Oxford.
The Headington park is opposite where a woman was stabbed outside the London Road Co-op on Tuesday afternoon.

The rusted weapon was recovered by the North East Neighbourhood Policing Team who have been out in the area and Marston searching for knives in open spaces.
The Cowley and Woodfarm Neighbourhood Team have also been searching Marsh Park, Cowley for knives this week.
Sharing an image of a kitchen knife, needle and drugs on twitter today, Thames Valley Police Oxford wrote: "So far we have recovered one knife, a number of needles and somebodies misplaced drugs."
Both searches were part of Operation Sceptre, a national week of action against knife crime.
