FOUR men charged with murder in connection with a stabbing in Oxford are expected to appear in court later.
Michael Yemane, 20, of South Bridge Row, Oxford, Welid Solomon, 25, of Field Avenue, Oxford, Sasan Mohammed Khalid, 19, of no fixed abode, and Safeen Abdullah Karimi, 27, of Hode Garth, Thame, will go in front of a judge at Oxford Crown Court this afternoon.
The four were each charged with one count of murder on Saturday.
They appeared at Oxford Magistrates Court on Saturday and were remanded in custody.
It comes after the victim of the attack in Southfield Road, east Oxford, died in hospital a week after the incident on Wednesday, February 27.
Luciano Dos Santos, 22, was run over and stabbed several times at around 11.20pm.
He was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital but died on Wednesday, March, 6, prompting Thames Valley Police to launch a murder investigation.
Tributes have been paid to Mr Dos Santos who has been described as a loving son and father.
The St Mary and St John Church in Cowley Road near the site of the stabbing held a special remembrance service for Mr Dos Santos on Saturday.
Father Philip Ritchie called for a two minute silence at 11am.
The church remained open afterwards for those wishing to light a candle or say a prayer for all victims of violence.
