A BUILDING on an industrial estate went up in flames after being targeted in an arson attack and burglary.
The fire was lit in Christmas Lane in Thame between 10.50pm last night and 4am this morning, by burglars who also stole trucks from the scene.
Thames Valley Police said a 'group of offenders' entered the site and set some mobile cabins on fire, as well as stealing 'a number of tipper trucks.'
Investigating officer Detective Constable Stephanie Barras-Thompson, based at Abingdon police station, said: "We are carrying out an investigation into the circumstances of this incident, and would like to speak to anyone with any information about it.
"If you saw a number of trucks driving away from the site, or have any other information which you think could help our appeal, please call the Thames Valley Police non-emergency number on 101, quoting reference number 43190074016."
Officers attended the scene along with the fire service and no-one was injured as a result of the incident.
There are currently no descriptions available of the offenders.
The blaze appeared to have started in a portacabin used as an office and spread to a two-storey industrial unit off Rycote Lane.
