THE victim of a fatal attack in East Oxford has been named as Luciano Dos Santos.
The 22-year-old, from Southampton, died after he was hit by a car and stabbed in Southfield Road on Wednesday last week.
Police launched an attempted murder investigation, which was escalated to a murder investigation after Mr Dos Santos died on Wednesday this week.
This morning the force announced that four men were all charged with one count of murder yesterday.
- Michael Yemane, aged 20, of South Bridge Row, Oxford
- Welid Solomon, aged 25, of Field Avenue, Oxford
- Sasan Mohammed Khalid, aged 19, of no fixed abode
- Safeen Abdullah Karimi, aged 27, of Hode Garth, Thame
All four appeared at Oxford Magistrates' Court shortly after 10am this morning, and were remanded in custody to appear at Oxford Crown Court on Monday.

Mr Dos Santos’s family have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.

Southfield Road, off Cowley Road, was cordoned off after the stabbing, which happened at about 11.20pm.
Police set up a tent at the junction with Warneford Road, as forensics combed the scene.
Mr Dos Santos was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Headington following the attack, but did not survive his injuries.
