UPDATE: Police release description of dog walker after sheep attack
TVP South Oxon and Vale of White Horse posted on its Facebook page yesterday: "Didcot and Wallingford neighbourhood officers are investigating a dog attacking sheep in the Dyke Hills, Dorchester-on-Thames area.
"One ewe, pregnant with twins, died as result. Another was seriously injured.
"We suspect the dogs name is Willow; described as a small brown dog.
"We would like to remind walkers of the importance of having your dogs on a lead whilst walking near livestock particularly around this time of year."
It is the second time a dog has attacked a sheep in the area this year.
In January a sheep at the Earth Trust Farm in Little Wittenham - next to Dorchester - needed stitches following an attack.
