OXFORD City Council want to knock down a row of sheds and revamp the land into a community garden.
As it is, the space next to the block of flats on Green Road – just off the Headington roundabout – is taken up with garages, sheds and tall brick walls.
But, if the plans are given the go-ahead by the council’s planning team, then council workers will get started on knocking the garages down.
The area will then be re-landscaped into a garden for residents at the flats.
It will dot fences around the new grassy areas, and put gates outside the front of the ground floor flats to maintain some privacy.
