THE HUNT for up to ten people involved in a double stabbing in Oxford continues as police release two suspects.
Two men were stabbed after a late-night brawl in Southfield Road, off Cowley Road, about 11.30pm on Wednesday.
One of the victims, a man in his 20s, remains in a critical condition in hospital, whilst the other is said to be stable.
Police have now given an update into their investigation, which has so far seen two men arrested.

A 22-year-old man of no fixed abode was arrested on suspicion of Section 18 wounding with intent on Thursday, and police today confirmed he has been released on conditional police bail.
A further man was arrested in London at the weekend, but has been released without charge.
Police believe up to ten people were involved in the stabbing and there have been reports of a group of men running away from the scene towards Cowley Road.

It is also believed a car and pedestrian were involved in a crash at the same time on the same road. The car has been recovered by police but the pedestrian is yet to come forward.
Thames Valley Police spokesman Kieren Bushnell said: "We are continuing to appeal to a possible third victim, who may have been in collision with a car, to contact us.
