Police believe the burglary, which is the latest in a catalogue of ATM thefts in Oxfordshire, involved up to five men who were all dressed in black.
Shoppers have been unable to access the store in Witney Road today after police cordoned it off.
Police officers were seen carrying evidence bags away from the rubble, and forensics have also been on site.
The gang escaped in a black Mitsubishi pick-up truck which was seen fleeing the scene towards the A420, with a chain dragging along the road.
In videos from the scene, the store's security alarm can still be heard ringing in the background.
Police have urged anyone with information to call 101, quoting URN 86 (1/3).
