AUDIENCES have been teased with a new trailer for an Oxford-filmed series inspired by Sir Philip Pullman.
People in Oxford have reacted to the trailer for 'His Dark Materials' which was released by BBC One ahead of an eight part series which begins later this year.
Deanne Reid, 30 from Oxford, said: "It's great that Oxford is featured in the series. It gives the city nice exposure."

Similarly, Jamie Atkinson, 22, from Bicester said: "I haven't seen the trailer yet but whatever it is, it is putting Oxford on the map and that's great."
The series, which is based on the fantasy novels by Oxford-based author Sir Philip, is also set to be shown on HBO, and stars James McAvoy, Lin-Manuel Miranda and Ruth Wilson.
Caroline Fowler, 54, who lives near Bicester, said: "It's a good idea. The buildings here in Oxford are so diverse and work great for filming."
Sir Philip says Oxford has inspired all of his works including, The Northern Lights, Subtle Knife and Amber Spyglass, which make up His Dark Materials trilogy.
