A MAN who opened his door to a bearded burglar wielding a knife had his home raided and cash stolen.
Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses to come forward after the terrifying burglarly which happened in broad daylight.
At 2pm on Sunday afternoon, the homeower heard a knock on the front door of his house on Humfrey Road, in Barton.

When he opened the door a large man with a beard down to his chest was stood holding a knife at waist height.
The man, who was dressed in dark jogging bottoms and a black hoodie, walked into his house and went into the living room.
A second man, who was bald, then came in and went upstairs to the bedroom, where he riffled through the homeowner's possessions and stole some money.
The bald man was wearing a grey and white patterned T-Shirt and blue jeans.
Both men are described as of large build, and both around 6ft tall.
