ANTI-Brexit activists from Oxford will head to London on March 23 for a last gasp call for a second referendum.
In what is expected to be a huge ‘Put It to the People' march, demonstrators will make their feelings known just six days before Britain is set to leave the European Union.
Organisers believe hundreds of thousands of people will march to Parliament.
Among the groups represented will be Oxford For Europe, which said in a statement: "People will march on Parliament offering a solution to a crisis that threatens their living standards, businesses and jobs. We demand a People’s Vote, and come 23 March, it could be a case of now or never.
"Our demand is a simple one: that any Brexit is put the people so that we can have the final say. This will be a day to tell your children about, to tell your grandchildren about."
The organisation is also organising a public panel debate about Brexit this Friday.
Confirmed speakers include Naomi Smith, Chief Operating Officer of Best for Britain and journalist Peter Jukes, co-director of Byline Media.
Professor Ernesto Macaro, from Oxford University's Worcester College will chair the campaign.
The debate will be held at Oxford's Wesley Memorial Methodist Church, on New Inn Hall Street, from 7.30 to 9.30pm.
