THE Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire Wildlife Trust (BBOWT) has had a claim over the Government's handling of the Oxford-Cambridge expressway accepted by the High Court.
In January, the BBOWT had its claim that the Government had not carried out an environment assessment rejected.
The charity says the Government has failed to look at the project's environmental impact.
Matthew Stanton, BBOWT's head of planning, policy and advocacy, said: “We are so pleased with today’s decision.
"Today shows us that the Government has a case to answer and we look forward to fighting for wildlife at the full hearing."
