THE women’s junior 14 octuples were the stars of the show for City of Oxford at the Bedford Eights and Fours Head.
They were the pick of the club’s six winners, beating their nearest rivals over the 2,000 metre course by more than a minute, clocking a time faster than nine of the 11 equivalent boys’ teams.
Elsewhere, Toby Pridmore was a double winner for Falcon at the South England Indoor Championships in Abingdon.
He took gold in the J14 individual race over four minutes and was part of the J15 3,000m relay with Oliver Fletcher, Toby Pridmore, Tom Carruthers and Toby Stephenson.
