THE housing association behind Oxford's all-female block of flats has asked Oxford City Council to give it the green-light for use as student accommodation.
Farndon Court on the Woodstock Road has been sold to Oxford University, which plans to revamp the rooms into postgraduate student accommodation.
Catalyst Housing, which last year handed over eviction notices to the 69-residents, made the application and if approved the council will say students can live in the block alone.
To support the application, the site manager said that students had lived there.
