A MAN who carried out a sex assault in East Oxford could work in a shop in Cowley Road, according to a detective leading the investigation.
The Asian man in his twenties or thirties got into a house in Divinity Road, East Oxford, through a window during the early hours of Saturday and assaulted a woman in her twenties.

DCI Bruce Riddell, of the Oxford Investigation Hub, said: “I think he has got a local link to the area, so he may live or visit people in the area, or he may work at one of the shops along the Cowley Road.”
Police have stepped up patrols and are asking for CCTV or dash-cam footage.
