ANOTHER car has been spotted driving the wrong way down the motorway this afternoon.
Just months after three people were killed on the same road in a similar incident, an 'elderly lady' was seen driving her light blue hatchback in the fast lane near junction 8 for Wheatley.

The incident happened on the northbound carriageway at around 2.30pm this afternoon, according to other drivers who had to swerve out of the way to avoid a collision.

Thames Valley Police said it received numerous calls about the vehicle and is appealing for anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.
They are still searching the stretch of motorway in both directions but believe the woman may have realised her error.

In October John Norton, 80, and passenger Olive Howard, 87, from High Wycombe, died when their Subaru Forester towing a caravan hit a Mondeo being driven by Stuart Richards, 32, from Stockport.
Ex-soldier Mr Richards also died in the collision.
