DISRUPTION for residents caused by the £14m Access to Headington programme is set to last until September, it has emerged.
Various delays, including cold weather and problems with utilities, have meant its completion date has been pushed back several times. In May, the council said it had hoped to get the work done by March 2019.
County council spokesman Martin Crabtree said: "The current phase of work is also on schedule and, because we keep our work under review, we are considering moving one job to the summer.
He added: "This would be work on a retaining wall between Copse Lane and Derwent Avenue which, because of current weather conditions, may be better completed during the summer. No decision has been made."
