OXFORD fantasy author Philip Pullman will be on TV to discuss his work with historian Mary Beard.
The author of the His Dark Materials trilogy is featuring in the Front Row Late programme on BBC2 at 11.05pm tomorrow.
The arts discussion show runs for 40 minutes and Mr Pullman is expected to talk about his writing methods and The Book of Dust, his latest trilogy, which features Lyra Belacqua and other characters from the award-winning His Dark Materials trilogy.

La Belle Sauvage, the first instalment in the new trilogy, was published to great acclaim in 2017 and the author is now completing the second part.
Mr Pullman, who lives in Cumnor, is a graduate of Exeter College and the college tweeted: “Tune in to BBC Two to see alumnus @PhilipPullman on #frontrowlate, interviewed by @wmarybeard about his life and work, including his time at Exeter College.”

Filming has now finished on a TV adaptation of His Dark Materials for the BBC based and they could be screened later this year.
Cardiff-based production company Bad Wolf has made the eight-part series featuring Dafne Keen as Lyra and James McAvoy as polar explorer Lord Asriel.
In July, security was tight around Holywell Street when scenes for the series were filmed.
