CYCLISTS want nominations for the 'most useless cycle lane in Oxford' after a string of complaints about cars.
Lobby group Cyclox put the call out on Twitter in response to cyclists posting pictures of vehicles straddling the cycle lanes and pavements in several Oxford locations.
Public service announcement: due to declining standards of driving and insufficient cycle provision, I will no longer permit drivers to pass me when cycling along Warneford Lane in #Oxford. @OxfordshireCC @TVP_Oxford @cycloxoxford @BBCOxTravel

If I cycle on the pavement or without lights I get fined. Why can he continue to park in the cycle lane unpunished?
Day1: did not manage to take pic as he aggressively walked towards me, "have a good day love, I am only unloading"

Twitter user Marten Veldthuis put forward St Clements after counting six cars parked over 250m of cycle lane and zigzag lines.
How many cars can you illegally park in 250m of cycle lane, (&pavement)? The answer is six. Six cars. Including four(!!!) people who parked on zigzags. @cycloxoxford is there a competition most useless cycle lane? I'd like to nominate St. Clements. pic.twitter.com/njPXIO98hZ

Another said they had seen the same van parked in Botley Road for three days in a row.
Any other suggestions?
