NEIGHBOURS have complained about a retrospective planning application for a shelter in an East Oxford pub garden over noise issues.
The Black Swan, in Crown Street, says the timber structure is used to host Aunt Sally games and six outdoor events per year.
Documents submitted with the application to Oxford City Council said the plans had already been given to the authority in December 2016 and the latest proposal included the removal of an elevated stage area.

But several residents on nearby Bullingdon Road and St Mary's Road have opposed the application over noise issues from the events.
One commented: "The stage/shelter is in the middle of a residential street with no noise insulation."
Another added: "This is a neighbourhood with families and in my household there are three children affected with not only the noise of music, but of the behaviours that spill out of the pub on special occasions when the shelter has been used."
