A 16-YEAR-OLD boy has admitted a violent robbery on one man and seriously injuring another during a daylight attack.
The Oxford teenager, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared at Oxford Crown Court yesterday set to stand trial for the incident of violence involving two victims in the city.
However in a last-minute change of heart he pleaded guilty to one count of robbery, one count of attempted robbery, one of having a bladed article and another of wounding with intent.

A fifth charge alleging intimidation was dropped after the teenager pleaded not guilty and the Crown Prosecution Service offered no evidence.
Wilkins Road, a typical street near the centre of Cowley.
The charges relate to a single incident which took place in the Cowley area on the afternoon of May 27 last year.
One victim was robbed of cash, while another man was the victim of an attempted robbery.
The second victim was also ‘unlawfully and maliciously’ wounded by his attacker, who also admitted having a knife on the day of the attack.

At the hearing yesterday his defence barrister asked for reports to be prepared ahead of sentencing to explore all options.
Judge Peter Ross agreed to adjourn the case but warned that the end result would be ‘a significant sentence of detention’.
The teenager, who was remanded into custody, will appear again at Oxford Crown Court on March 6.
