AN OXFORDSHIRE music festival celebrating its 40th anniversary this summer has revealed its full line-up for 2019.
Fairport's Cropredy Convention, which takes place in the village of the same name, near Banbury, will present more than thirty hours of live music to an audience of up to 20,000 festival-goers on August 8,9 and 10.
Rain failed to spoil the fun at last year's festival
Headline acts include The Waterboys on Thursday, Frank Turner on Friday, and following tradition, host band Fairport Convention on the Saturday.

Other major acts include Gogol Bordello, Seth Lakeman and Richard Thompson, as well as female ensembles Wildwood Kin and Daphne’s Flight, the instrumental virtuosity of Will Pound, Eddy Jay and Martin Simpson.

There will also be classic rock from Martin Barre and prog legends Caravan, with Lil Jim, Tors, The 4 of Us, Wilson & Wakeman, Richard Digance, Tide Lines and Zal Cleminson’s sin'dogs completing the line-up.
New for 2019 are luxury bell tents for those who want to try glamping.
