A SUSPECT has been charged after a man was racially abused in Oxford.
Esmat Hotak, of Saunders Road in East Oxford, was charged on Friday with racially or religiously aggravated harassment and racially or religiously aggravated criminal damage.
Thames Valley Police said the 20-year-old was arrested on Thursday in connection with an incident on the same day, during which a man in his 50s was racially abused and a vehicle was damaged.
Police did not specify where this took place.
Hotak is due to appear at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on March 12.
