A BUS became stuck in South Oxfordshire this morning after 'badly parked cars' blocked its path.
Police were called out to Watlington near Chalgrove shortly after 6am, to assist a Thames Travel service that was 'trapped' behind stationary vehicles.

The bus provider tweeted about the T1, which runs between Oxford and Watlington, reporting that the 6am service was stranded and later buses had to terminate early to avoid the blockage.
We have just been informed that the 6:00 T1 service is currently stuck in Watlington due to a badly parked car. Police en route to assist, however, the service will be unable to operate this journey. Apologies for the inconvenience caused.

Thames Valley Police are trying to help rectify the situation. Once the issue is resolved, we will update accordingly.

Services were able to reconvene shortly before 7.30am after the road was cleared.
Due to the earlier issues in Watlington, the trapped vehicle is now able to recommence service at 7:27 from Cowley Centre to Chalgrove. Thank you for your patience.

The T1's route around Watlington follows Cuxham Road, Couching Street and High Street, but Thames Travel did not specify where exactly the cars were parked nor if there were passengers on board.
