A CHRISTMAS Day drink driver has been hit with a big fine after he was caught behind the wheel nearly three times over the limit.
Pavvel Potoczny, 32, of All Saints Court, Didcot, was stopped in Station Road, Didcot, on December 25.
A breath test confirmed Potoczny had 98mcgs of alcohol in 100ml of breath, exceeding the limit of 35mcgs.

He admitted the crime at Oxford Magistrates' Court earlier this month and was fined £923, must pay a victim surcharge of £92 and court costs of £85 and was also disqualified from driving for 24 months.
Police in the South and Vale area arrested nine people for drink-driving this Christmas.
