SHOPPERS queued in their droves for the opening of a new Marks and Spencer this morning.
The new Foodhall in Chipping Norton attracted scores of people lured by the promise of 'golden tickets' for money off products.
The Windmill Square Retail Park store is open from 10am today, with the first 200 customers winning the discount tickets.
Oxford Mail reporter James Roberts said he thought 'at least 300 people' queued.
There was a queue around the building ahead of the opening this morning - here's the size of the line.
There was even a giant Percy Pig to greet customers.
The new store created 44 jobs.

M&S already has a large Foodhall branch at Oxford Retail Park in Cowley, plus food halls inside its larger department stores including Oxford's Queen Street and in Witney, and several smaller Simply Food branches in the county.
