A BANK is scaling back its presence on the high street by bringing the shutters down in two Oxfordshire towns.
Santander has announced plans to close banks in Didcot and Henley after 'changes in how customers are choosing to carry out their banking'.

But Oxford branches in Carfax and Headington have been spared in the nationwide cutbacks which will see 140 units shut overall.
Witney, Bicester, Abingdon and Banbury will also retain their banks, with the company planning to refurbish some branches.
