‘ABOUT 100’ souped-up cars drove noisily around north Oxford and Kidlington late on Saturday night before police intervened.
Footage has emerged showing numerous vehicles loudly racing around the car park of Oxford Parkway station, just before 10pm.
The incident is believed to not be the first time that groups of noisy, enhanced cars have driven around the city at anti-social hours.
Thames Valley Police spokesman James Williams said: “This was called into police at 9.37pm; a caller reported there were about 100 cars at Oxford Parkway.
“Police officers attended and moved the vehicles on at about 10.15pm.”
Chiltern Railways spokeswoman Laura Jones said: "We can confirm that we haven’t received any complaints or reports of this type of behaviour at Oxford Parkway car park.
"However, safety remains our top priority and it is therefore not appropriate for our car parks to be used for dangerous driving at any time.
"We would encourage the public to report such behaviour so we can work with the British Transport Police and Thames Valley Police to address this."
