A WOMAN accused of growing 25 cannabis plants has elected to face a trial by jury.
Michelle X, of Lammas Close, Abingdon, appeared at Oxford Magistrates' Court yesterday.
The 51-year old is charged with one count of producing the controlled drug of class B at Abingdon on July 16 last year.

After pleading not guilty magistrates at the hearing said the case could be heard in the lower court but X said she wanted the matter to go before a jury instead.
She was released on bail pending her next appearance.
X will next attend Oxford Crown Court on February 15.
