A KING Charles Spaniel has been named the best pet in Didcot.
Four year old Chloe has won a competition organised by Taylor Wimpey Oxfordshire and Larkmead Veterinary Surgery.
Last year, the newly launched surgery appealed for pictures of the town's best cats and dogs.
More than 30 people entered the competition and the top three winners were chosen from all entrants.
Sarah Russell, Chloe's owner, said: “I’ve always known Chloe was the cutest pup in Didcot and now it’s official.
"I’m so proud of her and I’m going to absolutely spoil her with some of her favourite treat from Larkmead Vets Surgery.
"I’d like to thank Larkmead Vets and Taylor Wimpey for making me and Chloe so happy.”

Closely following in 2nd place was Luna, a tabby cat, and 3rd place was taken by Storm, a miniature schnauzer owned by Angela Crooks.
Danielle Heard, sales and marketing director at Taylor Wimpey Oxfordshire, said: “We had a great time looking through all of the entries and choosing the winners proved very difficult.
"Working with Larkmead Vets has been a pleasure and our commitment to supporting the community of Great Western Park is as strong as ever.
"On behalf of everyone at Taylor Wimpey Oxfordshire, I’d like to say thank you to all of the residents who entered the competition and of course a big congratulations to Sarah and her adorable pooch, Chloe."
