A PROTEST in solidarity with refugees and migrants will be held on Monday.
Oxford Stand Up To Racism say they want to challenge the ‘racist scapegoating’ being used by the Tory government and the establishment.
More than 100 refugees are reported to have crossed the channel since Christmas Day and the group believe the government have contributed creating a climate of division.
The group want people to know that refugees are people escaping war and poverty to seek a better life for their families and that they are not to blame for the problems created by politicians and their austerity agenda.
The protest starts at 5.30pm at the Carfax Tower in Oxford.
