IT'S set to be a special year for petrolheads and local historians alike as Oxford marks the 60th anniversary of the Mini.
Plans are afoot to hold special events across the city to celebrate six decades since Sir Alec Issigonis' creation rolled of the production line.
The classic car's reputation is as strong as ever in the run up to the launch of the new electric Mini to coincide with the anniversary.
