AN OXFORDSHIRE county councillor has posted a video of himself with a gun on Twitter and tagged Gatwick Airport, offering to solve its drone problem.
Outspoken Conservative Liam Walker, county councillor for Hanborough and Minster Lovell, tweeted the video last night of himself firing a gun into the air.
He appears to be clay pigeon shooting or firing at some other kind of artificial target.
Tagging the airport he wrote: "Let me know if you need my services."
Hi @Gatwick_Airport please let me know if you require my services. pic.twitter.com/SPnO0SFmXL

One Twitter users, @OliSaintsFan20, replied to the tweet: "If you could spot them. Drones are nearly impossible to see."
Mr Walker, who is himself a drone flyer, also yesterday posted a photo of himself with one of his machines and wrote: "#Gatwick Not guilty. I’m proud to be a responsible drone flyer."
He added: "I’m amazed how a decent drone can enter restricted airspace. When Trump visited our area I couldn’t fly a paper aeroplane let alone a drone. These idiots will no doubt ruin flying for the sensible users... "

Gatwick Airport reopened its runway this morning after having to close it down and cancel all flights for more than a day because a drone, or drones, were spotted hovering near the airport.
Police have officially said the drone use was a deliberate act.
