A MAN has been charged with historical sex offences against a teenage girl.
Afzal Aslam Mohammad, aged 41, of no fixed abode, was charged today with one charge of conspiracy to rape and one charge of rape.
Thames Valley Police said the charges are in connection with incidents in Oxford between April 2000 and January 2001.
The alleged victim, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was aged between 13 and 15 at the time.
Mohammad was remanded in custody to appear at Oxford Magistrates’ Court today.
He is due to appear at Oxford Crown Court on Friday, January 18.
