THE 14 women still living in Oxford's all-female social housing block will not be evicted before Christmas.
Catalyst Housing, which owns Farndon Court on the Woodstock Road said that 55 women have found somewhere to live.
Wayne Davies continued: “No one will be asked to leave before Christmas and we are hopeful that by working with those remaining formal evictions will not be necessary."
In October the Oxford Mail reported how residents in Farndon Court were served with an eviction notice and asked to leave this month.

The block has been sold to Oxford University, which plans to revamp the 97 rooms into student accommodation.
Oxford City councillor Mike Rowley said the university wants the building empty by March.
