A MAN in his forties has died after his motorbike was involved in a crash at a busy junction near Burford on Tuesday.
Police were called to the A424 at the junction leading to Taynton between Burford and Stow at around 3.30pm.
The LEX Moto motorcycle and a black Volkswagen Passat were involved in the crossroads crash.
The motorcyclist's next of kin has been informed.
Police are appealing for witnesses and to drivers who may have dash cam footage.
Investigating officer PC Rob Turpin, of the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “This is a busy stretch of road and we would like to hear from anyone with information about this collision.
“If you saw either vehicle before the collision on the A424 or you have any dash-cam footage that could help with the investigation, we would urge you to contact the police.”
