TRAFFIC was once again heavy on the Oxford ring road this morning as today marks a week since Thames Water started work to fix a leaking main.
There were queues on the A423 Southern By-Pass Road both ways due to the works between Hinksey Hill interchange and Kennington roundabout.

The repairs are had a knock-on impact for the A34, with delays of 20 minutes in both directions.
Thames Water said last week it has a work permit until today, but the county council revealed yesterday it expected delays 'for the rest of the week'.
