Two conmen pretending to be from the 'water board' stole more than £500 from an elderly couple after tricking their way into the pensioners' home, in Station Road, Brize Norton, at about 5.50pm yesterday.
While one burglar distracted the couple, the other searched the house stealing the man's wallet, containing £500, and £2 in two pence pieces. The men were white and in their 30s.
